Many of the late 60's GM cars with the very large, flat rear window are notorious for being prone to rust out around the window and trunk lid. My 69 442 showed signs of rust cancer growing under the vinyl top, so I am having it repaired at a custom car shop in Houston. Project will include new roof and vinyl top, new headliner, and new windshield.

I have the same problem with my car.Im going to have to fix it myself among other rust issues Im tackeling this first.Its only rusted along the bottom were the window rests.I would like to see some more of the repair efforts if you have pictures.Thanks.
