69 442 hood insulation pad

does anybody know where to find a good reproduction hood pad that actually looks and fits nice for a 69 442? I know Fusick makes an exact repo but i am pricing around thanks.

I think you'll find the pricing at Fusick to be more competitive for most items than any other vendor. I know that Year One and OPGI are amongst the highest prices around. I didn't see them at TAMRAZ, and I won't do business with BAP after being ripped of by them 2X.

Parts Place: (1968 - 1972 Cutlass/442) HOOD INSULATION BLANKET WITHOUT RETAINERS (442 EXCEPT OAI) 24.00 Don't know about their quality, but dang their price on this is good. PP has been good for some people, but really poor customer service for others. Be forewarned. They will charge a restocking fee if you return the part, even if it was their mistake.

Supercars Unlimited has them for 35.00

68-70 Underhood Insulator
All models except 1970 Force-Air applications. 52-004 $35.00

Fusicks is priced at 33.50 for the same part (P63 of their new 2012 catalogue)

As I recall, the low dollar under-hood pads are of a generic sort and nothing near the quality of the Fusick pad. I went with the nice Fusick pad and paid the extra shipping but it is well worth it, in my opinion.
