Trunk Lid Trim Studs

In putting the trunk lid trim piece on to my car, there are a couple of the studs that are a little short. Any thoughts on what I could do to add some type of product to lengthen these studs so that the barrel nuts will still screw on to the studs?

Thanks for the suggestion coppercutlass. That is an option, but I was hoping to be able to use the original style speed nuts as opposed to the flat ones. Have you ever used Muggy Weld?
