Would a 1971 Cutlass front bumper fit on a 1970 cutlass Supreme?

 

The 70 is a 1 year only bumper. The 71/72 bumper will not fit on 70.

 

It will fit, but it won't look right. Purists will notice the difference, but non Olds people won't.

Here's a 70 W31 with a 71 front bumper.

Would the hood "Tooth" get in the way?

 

It doesn't seem to in the pic. It sits behind the hump in the bumper. They may have bent the tooth a little to fit it behind the hump?

The car used to belong to a friend of mine. I never really took a good look at it until another friend gave me this picture of it.
