Need to remove the windshield and reinstall so I can prep for paint.

The reveal moulding is chrome plastic (see pics) which as you can see isn’t in great shape.

Does anyone know where to source a replacement? I have to think this is something common to a lot of 80s GM cars but I’m not seeing any out there or I’m looking in the wrong places

I had the opposite problem the last time we did the windshield in my Wife's 84 Riviera. The strip on hers is black and I had a hard time finding it. The glass shop I use had the chrome no problem. I think he had it in a roll and said it was the same as most of the GM trucks from that era. Have you checked with a glass shop ?
I ended up finding an NOS GM black piece on e-bay.
