1956 Oldsmobile 88 Holiday Hardtop
I am currently restoring this vehicle and i'm having a rather difficult time decoding the cowl tag. The car is currently Alcon White/ Festival Red and the interior is Red on Black.
With this being said, the cowl tag info is as follows:
Style Number: 56-3639SD
Body Number: L12332
Trim Number: 375
Paint Number: S52-50
Top-----ACC.
I was curious if the car was still close to original or if it was changed?
Thank you!

Welcome,
Well we can easily tell that you have a Super 88 Holiday Sedan- which means four door "hardtop"- no pillars.
The trim is red leather bolster and black pattern cloth.
Top and ACC are both blank. No options.
Paint is confusing- 52 is Charcoal and 50 is Sterling Gray. Festival Red is 20. Could those numbers be 62 Terra Cotta and 60 Alcan White? That's what my 56 is, but mine wouldn't look very good with red interior!
We need pictures.

I had found the color code but was hoping that I was indeed reading them wrong. Personally, I like the red and white color scheme better and can't even find the gray and charcoal color scheme anywhere?!. It has a trim that matches that description currently, but it definitely was repainted then. I will include a picture of the car now and the cowl tag.
Thanks!
