Bumper guards again!

Hi all from the west coast. Well, after a few years and a long, wet winter, I finally got new impact strips for my rear bumper guards. Been waiting a long time for these to be reproduced. Overall quality is good, but I had to tweak them so they would fit right. Also the holes on the repro bumper I have had to have the holes made larger as the top ones were too small for the mounting bolts, and they did not line up correctly with the bottom holes for the guards to be perpendicular. After a couple hours of filing, the end result was pleasing.

Are the impact strips repro'd for the front bumper guards? I could use a set.

Yes, a guy in Michigan does them, but I don't have his contact info any longer. He used to advertise in JWO, but I have not seen any ads for him in quite awhile.

They look good. I liked them on my last car.

Yeah, someone gave me the info on the Michigan guy several tears ago but I never contacted him. These I got from The Parts Place through thru a link on Ebay, and yes they have them for the front as well. $39 apiece for the rear, I think front is the same.
