'68 Olds 442 Front side marker Lights

Planning this spring to replace the front side marker lights on my '68 442 convertible. Does anyone have any experience (good or bad) on using reproduction side marker lights and wiring harness? I was thinking of getting them from either Fusick or Year One. Appreciate any personal experience anyone has on installing new/reproduction side marker lights and wiring harness.

Thanks,
Phil

I replaced the entire wiring harness under the hood a year ago on my '69, and 9 years ago on my '68, with one from Fusick and it worked great. I'm still using my original side light markers on both cars.

Thanks Randy! I really appreciate your feedback. I have had collector cars for approx 30yrs, most were Chevys. This is my first Olds so I am not as familiar with the Olds vendors or accuracy of Olds specific reproduction parts. I remember vividly the frustration of working with so called "exact reproduction of original" parts in the Chevy world.

Fusick (www.fusick.com) is my preferred source for almost anything Oldsmobile. If you are looking for mechanical parts, SuperCars Unlimited near Portland OR has a great supply of what you would need (www.supercarsunlimited.com). I've also purchased items not available by either, from Year One (www.yearone.com) and Brothers Automotive Parts (see www.442.com for more info on BAP). BAP gets varying reviews but Fusick and SuperCars are nearly always on top.

PS: I've had a '71 Corvette since 1978 that got me involved in cars and restorations but it's for sale now. I've decided to just stay with Oldsmobiles!
