Looks beautiful. I have to do the same thing in the future on my 71 442. Was this your first attempt and do you have any secrets to ensure a good job is done? Was it hard to get any wrinkles out? Thanks

It was my first attempt. I have never done it before.I installed it by myself, took me about 2 days. What I did first was to measure the seams on the vinyl to see where they were going to line up on the roof. I marked the spots both front and back where on the top with a sharpie to where I want the seams to fall or line up. I then applied the contact cement which was Wedgewood"s Landau Vinyl top cement to the top of the roof between the 2 seams on the vinyl with a brush, I did not want to spray it on because I did not want to take a chance that I would mess up one of my spray guns. so I brushed it on heavily and then i did the same thing to the back of the vinyl top between the seams. I let it dry about 2 minutes to where it was tacky and then I laid it down on top of the roof. that glue is very sticky and bond really fast. I then took a filler spreader and went over the area that i had just glued down to removed the wrinkles. I also used a rubber sand block to smooth it out. I let that dry for about 5hrs and then I worked on the outside of the seams to the drip rails. I did the same thing with the cement but this time I pulled the vinyl tightly and held it down with some body vise grips to the drip rail. I then i took the filler spreader to remove the wrinkles out and pressed the vinyl down in the drip rail valley. When I got ready to do the front and rear window I removed the window clips and cutout openings
for the clip and glued the vinyl down between those openings all the way down to the window channel. Here is a link for installation which I thinks helps but now quite the way I did it.http://www.legendaryautointeriors.co...ON%20GUIDE.pdf
