Trying to figure out rough cost for a floorpan and trunkpan replacement

Hello all, I picked up a 76 Cutlass 442 and it needs a new floorpan and probably a trunkpan. I'm fixing some mechanicals right now to get it drivable but the bodywork is next. The existing floorpan was patched but not very well. I'm not a bodywork guy and this is my first big car restoration so I am wondering what a ballpark figure on doing the work is. Looking online, I'm thinking the parts are about $1000 or so, but I just don't know what the labor looks like on that kind of work, I just know it ain't cheap! I appreciate the help!

Chris, have you considered taking an evening auto body or welding course at your local vo-tech? That's probably the cheapest way you could repair the rust in your Olds.

IF you have an auto body shop do the work plan to spend many thousands of dollars getting it done.

Jesse, I have no doubt you are right about that. Unfortunately my job involves long hours and I don't know where I would find the time. Of course, my son (still in high school) would have time this summer.....
