Trim Plate

OK. I need help. I'm looking for the trim plate on a 1970 442 convertible I've looked all over the cowl and throughout the engine compartment. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Maybe a simple diagram to help. First time I can't find one. Beginning to wonder.

Thanks, Twilightblue 28A

I think I see the tab. Driver's side, under the hood where the corner intersects the cowl? Thank you

It should not be hard to find. It's either on the firewall or it's not. There's always the possibility it was removed. I've seen a couple of cars over the years where the cowl tag was missing. Never understood why anyone would remove it unless they were planning something nefarious.
