I'm working on restoring my 1969 cutlass supreme and have run into a problem. I need a stone shield but seem to only find them for 71-72 and ideas where I can find it?

 

That's because the 69 has a bolt on hood tooth. I don't think anyone repops them so you will need a donor car.

 

There is also a metal plate that goes underneath the hood tooth. That too must be found used. If we're not tracking with what you need, try to post a picture and hopefully someone can come up with it. John

the piece i have goes under the grilles the tooth bolts to it. i believe its a 69.

 

Under the grilles? That would be the stone shield attachment. That's the part John was talking about. The picture I posted is what attaches to the hood.
