the pits

on my trunk lid I stripped it and wire wheeled the surface rust spots there was some pitting sanded them too and then glassed them and body filled and painted the lid now after a year i have one spot that is blistered the size of a 50 cent piece so i guess im going to do it over. any ideas on how to stop it from doing this again? maybe blast it? and rust inhib?

That stuff will stop any oxidation from reoccuring. Just make sure you paint when the metal prep is TOTALLY Dry

metal prep and before you put your filler gind it with 36 grit spray a light film of etch primer on and then put your filler on. The grind marks will leave enough machanical adhesion and the light film of etch primer will promote anti corrosion.

i did spray the whole panel with etch primer first

I have this issue with my trunk lid . If you have no lock cylinder or it leaks that moisture builds up inside the deck lid and eventualy gets to those hard to get areas creating rust. My id also blistered but that because i had no lock cylinder for 3 years and after washing etc. the moisture made it pop. pour some por 15 on the inside and let it dry thats what i did on the deck lid i bought to replace the one thats on there now to aid it.
