How can I install the fender logo?

So I got my '72 Cutlass back from the paint shop and I've ordered up a whole mess of new parts from Year One to install. I got new "Cutlass" fender logos which have three mounting pegs which line up with the three holes in the fender. Problem is this - there are some push-on caps that secure it the logo in place, but to install them, you need to push them on from the inside of the body. I can't seem to get back there. Any suggestions on how to mount this puppy without getting crazy and removing the door?

I covered the backs with 3m tape and used a razor blade to follow the curves and cut it off. Just stick it in the holes and done! Also, it can be easily removed later if needed.
