Diver side quarter window question

I need to replace the roller the rides in the track pictured below. Do I have to remove the regulator, or is there another way?

Allan, I have the body manual but there are SO many figures and illustrations for the rear quarter windows, I dunno which is which. Can you help me narrow it down?

Thanks,
Dave

Thanks Allan. Does it matter which "A" style I have, and not sure, but do I have to remove the glass to put the roller in?

And on another note, are the lower tail light lenses interchangeable with either side?

It's close to the same. You have a 57 style quarter window. The sheet metal on the quarters is slightly different for the fastbacks.

I have a couple regulators in the shed I can check for you later today if that's ok?

Sorry I didn't see this. Yes, interchangeable side to side, just not upper / lower. Don't forget to reinstall those inner lenses. They're also size specific but can fit either side.

Yes, there are inner lenses that go inside the lenses. They look like this: One for each tail light.

They diffuse the light from the bulb over a wide area to give better illumination. Otherwise you only have one small point of light which is the bulb.
PM 442crzy (Nick) He can probably set you up with some. They are available from The Parts Place (New Old Stock) for $20 each if you want to go that route.

Ok I looked at the regulators in the shed. I don't see any way of replacing those rollers without taking the assembly out.

So that means the glass has to come out? And on the tail light diffusers Nick is hooking me up so thanks for the referral...once I get them is there a certain way they have to be installed?

The roller that runs up and down in the center of the track pictured is attached to the bottom of the 1/4 glass, let me see if I have a loose one, I will PM you Dave.

They have line up slots to fit the lens. The smooth side goes to the lens. You'll see that right away. Glad Nick could help you out.
