there are body shops all over the place around here, not sure who would let you use their booth but check around there are probably around 10 shops right around the corner in Forest Park and Oak Park

if you already have the color sprayed where the car is at now, why don't you just finish it where it is?

You may have already lost your clearcoat "window" for a chemical bond to your paint. Check out your specs on the base.

That window isn't very long, have to scuff it before the clear to get a mechanical bond if you go beyond it.
Clear is highly toxic, can't spray it like the basecoat, smart to get it into a booth and be a good citizen of nature.
Why not just take it to a shop and have them spray the clear?
If you can even find a shop willing to go out on a limb like that, the way OSHA, lawyers, and insurance regulations are I sure wouldn't.

i use dupont paint. the basecoat gets activated with the same stuff i use in the clear. so, it's no better. the activators are what have the majority of the isocynates.
