Best reproduction 442 rear bumper?
So my car already is not too original so I’m thinking about putting the 442 rear bumper on my 1970 cutlass can anyone recommend the best vendor to buy reproduction 1970 442? Do any reductions in particular have great quality?

Golden Star seemed to be the choice when I did my research. I Purchased the front and rear 442 for my '69 and the fit and looks were good. The aftermarket bumpers both actually weighed more than my originals. i couldn't afford to rechrome my nice originals, the golden stars will work great until I run into extra money for rechroming.

Some of the best re-chromed bumpers I have bought with or without a core to turn in was from www.bumperboyz.com
If you have a non cut out bumper for a core and want a cut out they will give you a fair amount for your core towards a re-chromed
They come to shows all over the country and have a vast inventory. They are located in LA, Cali.
I had a small issue with one I bought that didn't show up until a couple months later. They brought one to the next show after I called and replaced it with no hassle and made sure I was satisfied. They would have shipped it as well.
I have also bought aftermarket ones; both front and back; from Fusick. There was hardly any difference from the original and fit great. The only difference I noticed was the 2 tabs at the bottom edge of the bumper were slightly different from the originals. I suspect the tabs are only there for latching onto the bumper for the various tank dips required to chrome it.
Good Luck .
