My body shop indicated I would be better off replacing my left quarter on my 71 SX convertible. Supplies are limited everywhere that I searched so far, but The Parts Place has at least one listed. Does anyone know who makes their quarters?
If you buy from their site they want 250 to ship to Maine, the closest border to me. However, if you buy from their Ebay site, the price is 160 more, but shipping is free, a slight advantage. Anybody else run into this Ebay difference? The Parts Place is known for sketchy customer service, perhaps Ebay gives one more protection. Thoughts?

 

I believe ebay has negotiated with shippers to get discounts. I know I've sold stuff on ebay and shipped FedEx ground with a savings of 30-40% over what I could get shipping without ebay.
