Does anybody know if the hoods are the same on a 71 and 73 Delta 88? I know the front end looks way different, so I'm not sure if the hood is the same or not.


Specifically I'm looking for the chrome spear on the hood and somebody has one from a 73.

'71 and '72 show as being the same [407406] (interestingly, '71 shows a different hood for non-A/C cars [407404]), but '73 is a different number [411576].

I do not know whether the '71-'72 and the '73 hoods can interchange, but I suspect that the earlier hood is flatter across the center, where it mates with the header panel, while the '73 hood is slightly peaked.
