68 vs 69 fender bading cutlass s
So I replaced my front fenders on my 69 cutlass convertible( so its a cutlass S.), with fenders off of a 68. - not sure what model. Now that she is painted i am puting all the trim back on, and i seem to have extra scripts/badging. Anybody have a good reference as to the badging between years- I also have two small mounting holes above the left rear side marker- on an aftermarket quarter replacement-

From the Fusick catalog and my (getting old) memory:
Hood "S" emblem is different
Trunk "Cutlass" script is different
"Cutlass" Fender Script is the same
"Oldsmobile" hood script is the same
Convertible "S" Trunk Rocket emblem is different but I don't remember what's different (the 68 Cutlass S convertible rocket emblem isn't reproduced, I don't think the 69 is either)
Fender S emblem should be the same
I'm not sure what extra hole's you're referring to.
The rear quarter marker lights are different from 68 to 69. 68 has a left and right, 69's are the same.
There's a single round hole at the rear of the 1/4 panel for the last trim connection fastener. Is that what you mean?
FWIW 68 hinges on a 69 hood are going to take some work to fit (hood bolt spacing is slightly different) and your head is going to hate you

yup
The Fusick catalog is a good resource to tell what's the same & different from 68-69

Those holes aren't original. I can't imagine what someone added them for.
On the wheel arch, if you're referring to the wheel opening molding, those were an option on the Cutlass S in 68 & 69, they were standard on the 442. There were other wheel arch trim configurations for the Cutlass Supreme and an optional F85 as well that are in a different location than the S/442. The S/442 opening trim fastened to the inside of the wheel opening, the other were holes in the side of the fender arch
