I have just about everything disassembled on my 68 Convertible, including the whole front-end, all glass, the top, trunk lid, doors, etc. I am just down to the bare shell now. My question is if anyone knows how much the body shell weighs? I need to fab up something to lift it off the frame, and I want to make sure whatever I build/use is strong enough to hold up the weight.

I'd guess 800-1000lbs would be wgt of just shell no frame or parts
