1972 cutlass paint

hi i need to paint my car an original 1972 cutlass paint im thinking saddle bronze need opinions thanks the interior is tan so i need a paint to go well with it

Post the paint code from your data plate, it tell you for sure what it should be. If saddle bronze, the code should be 63.

yeah i know i have the sheet mine is 53 but i put this post up to get opinions on what color to paint my car

I'd go to an automotive paint store, look-up the original color, and see what's close!
Don't forget, if you change color radically, you'll have to do the door jambs, and under the hood and trunk - a lot more work, and paint money!
Not to mention original color code values on resale.

A fresh coat of what it was built with, is best IMHO....Almost any color looks good when it's new and a good job.

yeah thanks guys i agree with all you but the thing is the paints not that nice and the vinyl top doesn't look go either plus it extends to the back and front so i was wondering if saddle bronze would be a nice paint to go with
