1969 cutalss front bumper brackets diagram

I need to install the front bumper and bumper brackets for the 69 cutlass. i don't have an assembly manual. I am looking for a pic of how the brackets install onto the frame. I have those studs with the built in spacers and ridged washers but don't remember how they go. Any help is appreciated

The attached page should do the trick for you.

The attached page does not show the stud with the built in spacer, it shows simply a bolt. On a '68 the stud with the incorporated washer goes into the frame (to the outboard) with the long portion and bumper bracket, and the short end goes through the brace with a washer and nut on each end of the stud.

Ah, yes, I see what you mean. I scanned the same page from the '68 assembly manual (attached) and it shows where the stud goes and how it is attached.

I have both a '68 and a '69 and both are assembled per their respective assembly manuals. It makes me wonder if early production '69s were assembled with the stud to exhaust old supply before digging into the new supply. It wouldn't make any difference in strength/support and no one would know or see it anyway unless people got into them like we do!

I rotated the pic so it would be easier to see.

Can't you rotate the picture with the edit function?

I know some people have done it. I've tried it but, no matter what I do, it doesn't work. So I just post again!
