All,

I'm in the midst of swapping to a new gear and posi into my 72 Cutlass GM 8.5 10 bolt, that has bolt is axles. I figured I may as well swap out the 41 year old bearings/seals from my bolt in axles? If I could just get the parts ahead of time, then I can go the 2 miles to the differential shop and have them remove the 41 year old ones and install the new ones. Lastly I could just pull the axles and take them over and have them purchase and install everything.

Also, Does anyone have part numbers for the axle bearings and seals for the 1972 GM 10 bolt 8.5 axles that bolt in?

Yes,the axle bearings are Timken SET9 or also known as A9 by other companies.
The correct seal is 712146.
