heads for 455 but what year??

heads for 455 but what year??

Hello
I was cleaning out a garage and found a pair of heads that is to a olds 455 but I dont know what year.
maybe someone knows? it had a vin number on the side of them saying CFD, and then 413 - 191 - 202
can anyone help me? sorry about the spelling im swedish...

There should be a six digit casting number above the two center exhaust ports. If it is 413 191, these would be the K heads. K heads were used on marine motors and as a parts counter replacement for most of the performance big block heads. K heads are good for performance. You will likely hear from someone that K heads were the replacement for W-30 heads. In fact, by the early 1980s they were listed in the parts book as the replacement for just about every older big block application, so don't read too much into that.

Thank you so much for your reply. It probobly is ls like you sad cuz I know they were bought and restored long time ago to go into my uncles skiboat.

By the way do you know how much they might be worth? they were restored like 15yers ago and not used. have some minor rust on the surface..
