Replaced intake & pan gaskets, fresh paint, and a little underhood resto, I hope to have the car ready for the Southwest Airlines show at Love Field in Sept.

Steve the dolly was borrowed from TheRobeski, I think he bought from a guy on ROP that was fabbing them a few years ago, I love it, rolls easy.

And what blue is that? I put Fusick blue on the last one in the convertible and it looked a little light...I'm thinking the supercars paint is more correct but who knows.

Yah, I like Supercars Olds Blue, it is almost an exact match to the blue on a "72 Vista I had with original engine paint.

I knew I should've gotten that...I left it up to my dad to order and he went with Fusick. Oh well...it's ok I guess, just not as nice as the color yours is.

Looks great! Time to get it in there - Sept is almost here.
BTW, there isn't a such thing as a LITTLE underhood resto!
I shoulda passed out anti-MAW helmets to those at our meet last week...

Thanks. Keisler completed final testing on 8/15, they claim transmissions will start shipping in Sept., hopefully my 10/31 ship date will be moved up. I am putting my 4 speed back in for the time being..

If I may ask, what trans are you ordering? I just talked to Jeff today at Keisler and he was looking at November for the new 700. I am researching trans's at the moment to go behind a 462 that will be fired up by Labor Day and was curious as to whether anyone had any input?

I ordered the SS700 in early July, it's supposed to ship in late Oct. My criteria for the swap was: 1st gear ratio, no cutting, and the trans has to be used with my console.
Keep in mind, I don't expect this swap to be without issues, so if you're hoping for a bolt in deal on any of the 5 speed overdrives-forget it.

Keisler is the king of overpromising and underdelivering.

There are threads on different boards that have horror stories about them.

No way would I buy from them/

Check out the thread on Performance Years forum.

Secondhand versions are subject to being lost in translation, and are usually reflections of those regularly delivering bad news in ignorant haste....... Keep your glass half full, and keep us posted... I am hoping that it worth every dollar!

Ok, sounds good. I will keep looking. Lots of cash that can be used elsewhere if this will be a purchasing nightmare. I will keep my Muncie for now and lie in wait. Thanks again, Vin
