Hi, I took apart the engine out of my 70 Cutlass sx some time ago and I can not remember where the head bolts that have the fine threaded studs on top go.My car has ac,pwr steering.I also have three of these type of head bolts.Does anyone have an idea where these are placed?Thanks,Tim

Three? Hmmm...
Lower set of bolts, first one back that's not the short one, i believe.

The 3rd.. not sure. Anywhere except under the rocker covers I guess.

Generally only the RH head unit gets used, for a beasty AC bracket, at least on the A-bodys.

 

I know this is a little late but for anyone else:

Driver's side: bottom row, #2 hole from the front

Passenger's side: bottom row, #2 & #3 from the front
