Did it.

Bought this 455 Block off craigs list for 80 bucks.. Its still going to need alot of work but i dont think its that bad. Assumeing those pistons and crank want to come out. Anyways, i figured it was atlast worth a shot!

Marvel Mystery Oil in the bores will help a lot - let it sit overnight!
Good buy!!
Probably $75 scrap!

Yeah i filled up the bores last night with some motor oil.. Most of it seeped through which in my eyes is a good thing, i hit one of the pistons with a dead blow and now it wiggles ever so slightly in the bore.. So i think i might be okay.. But thats just 1 out of 8 FINGERS CROSSED!

Marvel's kinda like 5w WD-40 IMO, but works REAL good!!
I'd even put it down the oil pump hole - maybe it'd get to the bearings??

I only had some mobil vtwin 20w50 around for the harley, worked great.. Got all the pistons out and the crank! Block LOOKS pretty nice next step is get it checked out..
