ez fast efi vs custom q jet

Trying to decide between the ez fast efi or a custom built q jet. I like the ease and reliability of the efi. But a well built q jet can do the same if done right but I'm no q jet master builder

I've built/tuned several Q-jet, bought a few custom Q's (various people/shops, all "well known"), and tuned/assisted on several more. I've only seen one that even remotely came close to working as well as a decent EFI, and it was built by Dan Finn out of Beaumont, Tx.

A friend recently put an EZ EFI system on his '65 LeMans, with a 455 Pontiac. The car runs low-11's, and the system works GREAT for him.

Even the more basic EFI systems, like the EZ,will have benefits over a superb carberator. However, the EFI conversion will also require a different fuel system.
I have the more complex FAST XFI system, and I have made gains with this, compared to my carb set-up,even after we tuned the carb set-up on a chassis dyno.I can tune each cylinder for air/fuel,timing,etc.
