455 Power Steering Bracket

455 Power Steering Bracket
I have a '68 455 with a missing power steering bracket. What other engines and from what years can I pull, from that will be compatible with this? Can anyone tell me anything?

The PS pump bracket is composed of three parts. Do you need all three or just one? The brackets are the same on all 1968-1976 Olds motors. A/C and non-A/C are the same. Parts of the brackets (the front and lower rear parts) are the same through 1990. The piece that goes to the first bolt on the exhaust manifold is different.

I dont know what the motor came out of. The block code says 396021F. The heads say 394548C. So i figure its out of a 68 or 69. I couldnt find the 3xMxxxxxx number to verify the actual year of it. I dont have any of the pulleys yet either. I am looking for them but want to get the right ones. I can say it has A/C.

The easiest way to get what you need is to take every pulley, bolt, spacer, and bracket from another car that's the same model and year range as yours.
If you start picking and choosing, you can run into mismatches, because it's hard to remember several months later which rusty parts came off of which car

No need to "type louder" I understood, I was just being polite and answering everyones questions. Thanks Joe, I picked them up today an I'm cleaning them up right now to install tomorrow.
I had read up on it already but I guess since this is my first time doing this I wanted to kinda get a little confirmation. I hate double working. Nothing wrong with double checking right?

I have the correct brackets but I know am stumped about the pulleys. I got the brackets off a 83 olds and they fit. However, the pulley from the power steering pump that I got from the junk yard is a "press on" kind and the pump I got from autozone has a bolt that is not hollow with threads. It doesnt slip on because its not thick enough.
Where I can find this type of pulley, or is there something I can screw on top of the threads to enable me to "slip" it on?
