Timing Tab

Okay I bought one of these tabs for my 455 and it fits great. My question is there is no indicators on this thing. How do you know what the timing is supposed to be? Was something supposed to go over top of it? Thanks

Those work best with a timing tape on the balancer. Just clean the balancer, and stick it on in the correct orientation.

The notches on the front are the indicator. Looks like a 0 and a 10 on that one with the zeros being punched out. That 10 would be before TDC.

Oh I got ya, so the hole by itself is zero and the hole with the box is a "10". Very clever. LOL Thanks for clearing that up for me

Now if I could just sort this whole bracket situation I will be ready to fire up the motor in about a week or 2. I just want to hear it come to life
