Need a new carb any recomendations??

I have a '65 425 in my '65 Delta 88 its a high compression motor, I have an Edlebrok performer intake manifold, dual exhausts with an "S" manifold, and I currently have a Holley 750cfm 4160 series carb on there (vac secondaries) and it began to leak and flood out. I am wondering if there would be a better carb that I could choose for my setup? Smaller CFM? different series or brand? If it makes any difference I plan on putting a larger cam in and some roller tipped rockers this winter. The car has 3.08 gears in it, stock trans and only winds out to about 4000 rpm.

Suggestion will be much appreciated!!

Thanks

Have you considered rebuilding your Holley?

I agree. You might want to consider rebuilding your holley. Don't think you have to much carb for it.

Sounds to me like the float is sticking. Try running some carb cleaner through it before you get to carried away with buying things

Now THAT is funny!

I say do what you can afford to do. Even if it means an AFB.
Your car.
Good luck.
