Pulley set-up
Pulley set-up
Since I removed the A/C from the 455 in my ‘71 Cutlass long ago - I was curious where one might find a pulley/bracket setup to the non-a/c variety?
Also, has anyone ran a different p/s pump?
And lastly, who has the most thorough write-up for changing to an internally regulated alternator?
Thank you all,
Josh Hucks

Josh, post a parts wanted ad for the non-AC brackets and pulleys. There will be several members here who can provide that.
I would keep the same power steering pump just to keep life simple. If you do go with something else you'll have to make sure you can get pulleys that will line up.
I know Joe Padavano has discussed changing external to internal voltage regulators, but I'm not coming up with the thread doing a search. You might try posting the question to the Technical and Reference forum, General Questions and see if someone can come up with a link to explain it.
