Hello Oldsmobile fans , I'm building a 455 and need some assistance with picking a roller cam. My car weight is 3600lbs , tire size 28 inches, massaged factory C heads , Edelbrock performer intake , headers , 2800 stall speed Auto , 3.42 rear . It's a street car . I called one manufacturer , I wanted another opinion to avoid regrets after the install . Thanks in advance

 

Compression? Headers? Carb? Desired power and drivability?

 

Yes , as stated , headers (long tube ) compression 10:1 , Holley 750-850 , eagle rotating assembly, 400+hp, light to light shenanigans .

 

Mike Jones will give you the best power with less valve train stress than anyone. Cost a little more but the quality is outstanding. Make sure to put ROLLER in the cam type block. I also recommend his valve train components
