pontiac pistons

I'm still running a 14 year old build using the 455 crank 7 inch 425 rods and standard bore Pontiac pistons which is like .50 over bore. I think from memory.
I cant speak to your combination but the short block works well. It has proven to be reliable and it melds the best characteristics of a 425 into bigger cubes. It turned out to be about zero deck and flat tops with valve reliefs in the wrong spot.
This combo loves to rev and makes good power on the higher end. Mu combo is the edlebrock packaged hydraulic flat tappet cam, lifters I think the 520 lift. Stock edlebrock heads and torquer intake 1 3/4 headers.
I'm going into update to roller cam this summer and new valve spring, change gaskets but the engine is still good. oil pressure and compression.
