Procomp heads valve sring pockets

Procomp heads valve sring pockets

Looks to me like the springs are a little too close to the pushrod guideplate pads. Haven’t seen this topic come up before. I’m running 1.460” springs. Do I need to take these apart and start trimming or am I missing something. Thanks

I see why you are concerned in your pictures, but doubt it is any real problem, but to be on the safe side once assembled on the full engine you can turn turn it over by hand to make sure, but I seriously doubt there will be one.

Thanks guys there was a witness mark on the spring. I tried to capture that in the pics. So that’s why I was concerned. But if it’s not big deal I’ll gladly move on. As always thanks for the input.
