Carb question

Hope this is posted in the right place. I'm a rookie. Have a 67 Toronado that previous owner did not love. Wrong carb. No working choke. Gas in the oil etc. I have the correct 7027131 quadrajet to install. I have a NOS correct choke coil (divorced choke). I do not have the rod or retainer that connects coil to carb (arrow in picture).

1. Where can I get one?
2. What is the Toronado specific bracket for that I circled in the picture?
3. Where can I see good photos for under the hood without the air cleaner so I can begin to fix the butchering?

It runs good once warmed up. I changed the oil, trans fluid and filter, and modulator and now it drives and shifts pretty well. Thanks for any help you can offer. I have the correct manuals but actual photos would be really helpful.
Anyone out there in central oregon?

The gas in the oil may be due to a bad fuel pump. When the diaphragm leaks, fuel can go right into the crankcase. Keep an eye on the oil to see if more fuel shows up. If it does, it's likely the fuel pump.

You can post a want ad and look around here in the classified section, as several guys have barns full of Olds parts and cars. Im sure one of them would part with these parts used. The clip isnt too hard to find. Call any of the better carb re-builders to obtain the retainer clip and possibly the rod new. Google Qjet rebuilders and Qjet parts
