wiring diagram for Olds 371 from distributor to plugs

wiring diagram for Olds 371 from distributor to plugs

I need a wiring diagram showing me what plug wire goes where on my 371 distributor, been working on car draft tube and got some wires loose on the distributor thought I had them back in the right spot but guess not, hope you can help. Thought I had a diagram cant find.

Firing order should be cast into the top of the intake manifold. If it hasn't been messed with #1 plug is first hole front left drivers side and remember that the distributor turns counter clock wise that should get you there.. Tedd

I'd find #1 tdc on the compression stroke by pulling the spark plug and where the rotor is pointing to is #1 and go from there.

And again, the location of the No. 1 plug wire on the cap depends on where the distributor was installed. If the distributor has ever been out once the car left the factory, you MUST verify that No. 1 cylinder is at TDC on compression.
