Water pump selection

Would thihs be a good water pump for my 455 build

Depends. If you're building a 455 Pontiac, it's a great choice.
A 455 Olds? Not so much.

The pump you linked to is for a Pontiac motor, not an Olds motor.

You are correct. I dont know why because I searched by motor not vehicle? Any ideas on a good olds water pump.

Truthfully, I would buy this one if you are just doing a mild street rebuild.

Or, you can go to your local auto parts store and buy a new one from them. Whichever is cheaper. Don't forget to include shipping in the price of the one from Summit.

What's considered a "mild street build"? HP and parts-wise? I always hear people say it but I have no clue what one would be.
