That looks to be an aftermarket pump. Is it the original off your car?

Wagon Wheel
proper date code tab
CFD = Central Foundry Division
"3" on the RH outlet boss
proper locations for the wheel, "CFD", and part number...

I'm sorry, how does that add up to "aftermarket" ??

Can you divulge the price for this service?
I have quite a few candidates that could use this service. Might invest in a small lot of them.

The rebuild price is 101.00 includes shipping. Chris, maybe he'll make deal for more than one.
Aftermarket? Really?

I guess I'm used to mid 60s pumps that look a little different from the 71s. I saw the wheel and foundry mark but the 3 didn't look right.
And don't be surprised when I question something that looks a little odd.

What style of impeller is on it? Did they re-use the factory cast closed-style impeller?

How many #3 water pumps have you seen?
I have collected photos of many such things.

I am a big fan of "Question Authority"

but, at this point, I will stick with this is an OEM offering.

Commercial Water Pump Rebuilders is also in Houston. 713-864-5199

I have used them twice with excellent results, and they are $20 cheaper.

Yes-factory cast impeller, (the reason I had a pump rebuilt) I removed a factory pump that was leaking..
