w/z manifolds on g heads- divider question

my g head exhaust crossovers are blocked with resbond. without welding on the heads or the exhaust manifolds, how would you go about filling the gap between the center dividers on the heads and the center dividers on the w/z manifolds? this is for use with ernie's 425, dual exhaust.

tia,

Well without welding I only know that face can be milled down so center divider is flush. I had this done on a 67 442. It made the Hooker headers fit better than before. I dont know how this will work with manifolds...

I think someone made a V shaped peice of metal and stuck it in there to separate the the two exhaust ports. Check on the porting thread.

This. If the gap is small, this is feasible. On many heads there isn't enough material to do it, so welding is a must.
