valve train noise

1967 400E block, C heads, Harlan Sharp S50026A rockers, JM-20-22 cam, New Johnson/Topline .921 lifters. Heads new valve job, Bernard Mondello shallow valve springs 130#@ 1.70 installed ht. 300# open @1.20. Suspect springs coil binding at .512 advertised lift of JM-20-22. Any recommendations to eliminate valve train noise that is evenly distributed on both sides/heads? Sounds like a sewing machine/ solid lifters. Double gasket on valve covers and baffles have been removed. Pushrods dead center on valve tips. No witness marks on underside of rocker arms plus ran .040 wire gauge tween rocker arm and retainer. Rockers adjusted zero lash then another 1/2 turn. Runs great just noisy. Tried to check for coil bind but was unsure if the hydraulics bled out all the way. Coil spacing, with cam on max lift and rocker adjusted to bottom out lifter (effectively making it a solid lifter?), seem to be under .020 between the coils. Shallow spring set that will not coil bind in range of .525 lift? Suggestions? Am I missing something? Thanks, in advance, to everyone.

The jm20-22 is normally a little noisy at lower rpms and will sound like a sewing machine as described. This is normal.
