Valve noise

I have a 68' 455 with a comp cams XE 230/230 cam, comp springs and magnum roller rockers, no matter how many times I adjust them they make a ton of noise. I am going to pick up some Poly locks, but has anyone had issues like this?
I am getting tired of chasing clattering rocker arms!

How are you adjusting them? I've run that cam for years, and they are a little noisy..but rocker arm clatter tells me they might be too loose.

I changed out the crimp nuts last night for some ARP locking nuts and I replaced all of the push rods, as on many, the ball was collapsing, causing the rocker to rattle.
I went through the valves again and re-set them exactly as the comp instructions stated and started the car, much better (for now).
I'll take it out and beat on it this weekend and see if the problem returns.
It almost seems like the valves springs are too stiff or that it needs less pre load than the 1/2 turn that zero comp recommends.

Thanks for the input!
