Temperature sender resistance specs
Temperature sender resistance specs
Good evening all,
I have the instrument panel out of my '66 Toronado on the bench and I'm doing a little restoration on it. Several of the pins on the back of the panel were loose so I've been repairing them.
I wanted to test out the temperature gauge but I don't have the resistance measurements for the temperature sending unit. The fuel gauge specs are written on the wiring diagram (0-90 ohms) and the temperature gauge seems to operate similarly but their is no specs shown for the temperature.
Does anyone have a rough idea of what the ohms vs. temperature specs would be on these big blocks? I have a little decade box that can sub in various resistances to check the gauges.
