Can't find anyone in Memphis area that does sonic testing? Need block tested to see how far can safely go. Seen ultrasonic testers on ebay for under 100 bucks anyone know if they would work well enough just to test it myself? Any suggestions helpful. thanks

A big part of sonic testing is knowing how to read the results. If you ask around at machine shops, they should have the information.
