Small Block mounts installed,help ???

Are this 455 sit at the right height in my 65.....

Header(Flowtech)donīt come near the arms bolts as I know and see by other Olds cars.
Great if you must change Headers....

Milodon Pan (8-Quart 9"Deep) installed but you can see it only a little (picture bluffs) under the main-frame crossmemer, can it be ??

14" Air cleaner with Performer Intake installed.

The only criticism i have is the 7° - 8° degree down Angle i measure at the Transm. rear gasket / output shaft,Consequence of unmatched Frame/Motor mounts???

"INDIA SB 2328" are stamped on the M.Mounts.
Engine still installed so i canīt measure it for now.

I got this information from stamped the 2328:

270-2261 - 1964-69 all V8 exc. w/400
270-2261 - 1970-72 all 350

270-#2328# - 1981 Cutlass Cruiser Station Wagon 260F gas
270-#2328# - 1981 all 350N Diesel
------------------
1964 - 1968 small and big block motor mounts 270-2261
1969 - 1972 small block motor mounts 270-2261
1969 - 1972 big block motor mounts ##270-2328##

Only one frame mount was used in the 1965 cars - the so-called "small block" mount. Note that this same mount was used with the 400 cu in big block from the factory, which is externally identical to the 455. Your photos confirm that you have these frame mounts. The corresponding rubber motor mount should be Anchor P/N 2261 or equivalent. If you have 2328s then your engine is likely sitting high. I'm also surprised that you got them to bolt up.

The "bracket" or frame pad was used in all 64-8 V8 F85 series, and 69-72 350 engines. It is 1.2" high and the hole for the through-bolt is .6" from the frame surface. The engine oil pan should be about .45" above the crossmember and steering center link.

Not to knock anything you have done. But the freeze plug on the passenger side looks pretty bad.

Your mistake is believing what the catalogs say. Nearly every vendor gets the applications for motor mounts wrong. Again, use 2261 with the "small block" frame mounts and 2328 with the "big block" frame mounts. It doesn't matter what engine you have, all that matters is that the rubber mounts match the frame mounts.
