Running CAM2 fuel

I found a gas station about 25 miles away that carries CAM2 (110) fuel. I picked up 10 gallons @ $7.80 a gal.
My question is would this change how my timing is set. Would I not have to advance it as much? I plan on mixing 50/50 with 93 at the pump.

No no no, the higher octane allows you to advance it more than you normally would. If you run only 93 the highest you could run (depending on your compression) would be 35 total advance. If you run the 110 you could get away with more advance. It is all about what your engine will handle...if you start detonating with 93 octane and 35 degrees total advance, then when you add the 110 you should be ok. Just remember that if you aren't running the 110 with it you will have to retard the timing to keep the motor safe.
