Rocket Racing Performance

Does anyone have any or know of anyone that has experience with any of the Rocket Racing Performance products : their new 4 bolt main blocks, heads or cranks ? Based on the information from their website the block looks to be well engineered but it’s not cheap. I would imagine that the block with their cylinder heads would make a complete engine quite pricey. Is the block designed strictly for racing ?

What’s your desired power level?
I’m doing three Rocket blocks as we speak. Very nice casting. But they’re not assembly ready when you get them. You’ll need another $1000-1200.00 of machine work to get them there.
I’m not as familiar with their heads but with the new, revised Edelbrocks now out on the market, you have another choice, and consequently more manifold choices as well. Rocket only offers 1 intake for their heads at this time.
Hope this helps.

Well since you asked, a few things, Main saddle and deck finishes were not assembly ready. I ordered three blocks, 2 are going to 4.390, 1 going to 4.350. That was stated on the order. I got one each 4.240, 4.310, and 4.350, all rough bored.

I’ve heard of others being on a waiting list as well. Wish you the best moving forward.
