Hi All, i have a question regarding these 2 specific carbs, Now what i do know is they have the same casting numbers for the base the center section and the air horn, from what i can tell also they have the same primary rods 7031844 and they both use the same main jet 71 the secondary metering rods on the 330 are AT and on the 400 AU my question is side by side would they perform the same if i put the AU in the 330 carb, any info would be appreciated thanks john...

Yes, other than the secondary metering rods, the two carbs are the same. Same primary side metering, same power piston spring, same float, same needle and seat. Of course all the other adjustments for the '156 would need to be made to the '036, such as float height, secondary air valve spring wrap, etc.
