Push rod length???
Hey guys good morning. Built a gas pump friendly F block 455 with mild hydraulic cam. Installed Edlebrock rpm heads.I did measure push rod length and came up with a 9.50" length. I been told that's to long, I should be running 9.3/8's". Any thoughts??? Thanks

Who told you that was too long?

Lots of things influence pushrod length. Cam base circle, machine work to the block or heads, valve job, etc.
if everything is stock, and everything machined to factory dimensions, you could probably get away with stock length pushrods. If anything is different, you need to measure for the right length.
Therr are lots of YouTube videos showing how to measure for the correct length.
